Exclusive U.S. Appearance & Live Recording at Jazz Improv LIVE! 2007
of McCoy Tyner, Stanley Clarke, Jack DeJohnette All Star Trio

New York, NY – July 26, 2007 - The First Annual Jazz Improv® LIVE! Convention & Festival 2007, The One International Convention For Jazz Fans - will present the exclusive U.S. appearance of the McCoy Tyner All Star Trio featuring bassist Stanley Clarke and drummer Jack DeJohnette, which will be recorded live on Friday evening October 26, 2007 for release on Half Note Records.

Taking place this autumn in New York, October 25-28, 2007, at The New Yorker Hotel and Manhattan Center, at 34th Street & 8th Avenue in midtown Manhattan, right in the heart of the jazz world, Jazz Improv LIVE! 2007 will feature over 150 activities, a 12,000 square foot jazz expo area, and scores of performances, all day and evening, by leading and emerging artists covering the broadest array of jazz genres.

Jazz Improv LIVE! is the only international convention for jazz lovers - uniquely designed for jazz fans - consumers - the segment that represents the largest group of customers for jazz records, products, and live performances. Unlike other events that require membership fees, and exorbitant attendance prices, jazz fans can experience four fabulous days of jazz at a very reasonable rate.

To take advantage of Advance Registration discounts to attend, including a free bonus copy of Jazz Improv Magazine (300 pages with enhanced companion CD), call 1-888-472-0670, or use the secure automated registration form online or by mail to: Jazz Improv Convention Corporation, Murray Hill Station, P.O. Box 1813, New York, NY 10156. For information on sponsorships and exhibiting, contact Jamie Cosnowsky, or call 212-889-0853.
